Teddy Lasry - Interpol (1979)

Here is another Teddy Lasry album from 1979. Funky rhythms with clavinet, prophet 5 and Arp Odyssey synthesizers. A real gem. Here it is in lossless format.

Yeah this is a great album - nice to see it posted here.

As Julian over at Progressive Review originally posted this rip and a few other Teddy Lasry albums last month - it might be nice to offer him some thanks or mention his blog in the actual post - I am sure he would appreciate it!

For anyone new to the wonderful world of Teddy Lasry, there is a collection of links in the comments page here:

Sorry, I just saw, you had already posted some great TL albums - so I imagine between the rips Julian kindly provided and your previous posts, there should be collected all the TL rips posted on the net so far.

Just need some kind soul to post the Tutti Fluti album!

I recently stumbled on your blog searching for Nightcrawlers music, THANK YOU for Xisle, etc.
It appears the link for Interpol is broken or has been rerouted or...?
I have been a HUGE Lasry fan since first hearing a solo track on a college radio station back in the late 70s but it wasn't until the age of the internet that actually buying his LPs here in the US could be a reality. I spent a small fortune obtaining these LPs (& numerous others by or including tracks by TL) & now all these years later they finally appear for free download!
He has more recent CD releases on KOKA media & the Galerie label that are very good as well. A particular stand out is "Nu Accordion" which is a fusion of world beat, funk, jazz & hip-hop with some dazzling fingering on the featured instrument - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Your fans on the site here will likely adore you all the more if you have the IML label series that are @ 1/2 featuring Lasry as well as Jannick Top & other original Magma members.
The ONE Lasry album to avoid: "Love Valley" - his songs are barely tolerable, the other guy's stuff if just putrid.
Thanks for a great blog & superb selections to post.
peace, P
