Rudiger Lorenz - Queen Of Saba (1981)

Rudiger Lorenz was a German electronic composer from Mainz. He was a collector of vintage synthesizers and modular systems. He also made his own modular synthesizers such as the "Loran Modular" and the "Formant Modular". His music is mostly experimental and arppegiator driven. His first albums were in cassete format (Queen of Saba, Silver Steps, Wonderflower...) and considered to be extremely rare. One of my favourite German electronic composers.
Note: for more Rudiger Lorenz, search for "Silver Steps" here in this blog.

I don't normally capitalise, but this deserves a WOW! Rare as rocking horse shit tape that I have wanted to hear for a long time - so I cannot thank you enough for this.

It seems the world is now ready for the music of Rüdiger Lorenz and it is really sad that he isn't around to see it - he really was so ahead of the game musically speaking.

I really wish Vinyl On Demand had released The Syntape-Years 1981-83 box set on CD (just as I wish I had not got rid of my decks and vinyl years ago!) but just getting the chance of hearing this is such a pleasure.

And I see you have also posted Silver Steps - you spoil us sir!

Between all the rare Teddy Lasry albums posted at Progressreview and Dusty Shelf blog and the two Rüdiger Lorenz tapes you have posted, I am going to have such a great month for music I have wanted to hear for so so long!

Many thanks!
