Syndromeda - Connected! (2014)

Syndromeda (anagram of "The synthesizer syndrome of Andromeda ) is the Belgian composer Danny Budts.
Danny was born in 1958 at Wilrijk - Belgium. Always interested in music he learned to play himself acoustic guitar at the age of 14. At the age of 18 he was playing the lead-guitar in a local rock-coverband, called " Cold Turkey " .
In the mid-seventies he also discovered electronic music. His first acquaintance was " Ricochet " of Tangerine Dream. He soon learned to know the music of Klaus Schulze, Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis, and many other.
In 1979 he built himself a modulair synth, a Formant, and also bought a simple monophonic preset-synth a Roland SH-2000.
Now he has a huge studio full of wonderful vintage and modern synthesizers, and a big eurorack modular system. His newest album (released on Syngate) is "Connected!". It was mostly written with the eurorack modular system and has a classic berlin-school influence with lots of experimentation.
Syndromeda thank you for this wonderful music, you are one of my favourite artists of our times!

Enjoy
