Apeiron - Circuit

Andreas Prinz (formerly Konrad) is better known for his pseudonyme "Apeiron".
He started his musical activities with issuing tapes like "Circuit" and "Twilight People". "Circuit" is his first lp and very hard to find. His music is heavilly influenced by Schulze , Tangerine Dream, Ashra Temple and generally the composers of the berlin school electronica!

Robert Schroeder - Cygnus A

Robert Schroeder's interests in electronics and engineering aided his musical development as he built his own equipment to experiment with synthesis and create new sounds. In 1970 he ceased playing music for a few years to concentrate on studying and engineering, later to go on to work for Atari and Seiko in 1984. In 1978 he became friends with Klaus Schulze who signed him up to his Innovative Communications label

Cygnus-A was performed as a multimedia event at ARS-Electronica 1982 in Linz and broadcast on Austrian and German television. The sound is cosmic, deep, mysterious.

Great spacemusic full of synthesizers and some avant garde moments.

One of Schroeder's best albums! :)

Rudiger Lorenz - Fata Morgana

 

He was one of the pioneers of the DIY movement, not only building his own synthesizers and effects but creating and distributing his own music label, Syncord Records

Fata Morgana is Lorenz's first cd release from 1990. Here Lorenz plays various modular synthesizers and other vintage instruments from his huge collection.

Cybotron - Colossus

Australian synth pioneer Steve Maxwell Von Braund formed CYBOTRON (defined appropriately as half man-half machine) in 1975 with fellow electronic musician Geoff Green. They performed live in Melbourne before recording their first album "Cybotron" in 1976. Descriptions of the bands music include cosmic, progressive, psychadelic and krautrock-inspired. "Cybotron" is to Australia what Tangerine Dream is to Germany, Jean-Michel Jarre is to France, Neuronium is to Spain and Wavestar & Steve Hillman is to England." (Jeff D., Sedalia MO) Two other albums were released, "Colossus" in 1978 and "Implosion" in 1980.
